Trachelospermum jasminoides, commonly known as Star Jasmine, is a versatile evergreen climber with glossy green foliage and masses of highly fragrant white, star-shaped flowers. Flowering from late spring through summer, its sweet perfume fills the garden and attracts bees and other pollinators.
A vigorous yet easily managed climber, Star Jasmine is ideal for covering fences, walls, pergolas, trellises and screens. It can also be used as a dense, evergreen groundcover or trained as a low hedge. It prefers a sunny to partly shaded position and well-drained soil. Once established, it is relatively low maintenance and provides attractive year-round foliage with a spectacular summer floral display.
